BUILDING PERMITS.
The value of the building permits issued by Inspector A. E. Sayers for the month of May totals £6131 los, and includes four new residences £3460, additions to business premises £2075, private garage £22 10s, addition to bakehouse £lB7, and addition to residence £387. For May last year the total was £4622, which included the sum of £4342 for a block of concrete shops.
