The British Broadcasting Corporation has' apologised for Commander Woodroffe’s broadcast of the night display during the fleet’s review at Portsmouth, and says that after his return from a short period of sick leave he will be transferred to duties which for a time, will not involve his speaking into the microphone The Daily Telegraph understands that Commander Woodroffe will devote himself to the organisation of outside broadcasts and will ultimately give running commentaries.
