NOTE TO THE LEAGUE ITALIAN INTERVENTION “Tantamount To Invasion,” Says Loyalist Government Press Association —Copyright, (Received 11.5 a.m.) Geneva, May 27. The Spanish Loyalist Government's Note -to the League is supported by documentary evidence. The Note makes no reference to Germany, but claims to show the existence in Spain of complete units’ of the Italian Army; that these act’d as an army of occupation, and that' distinguished! Italians directed the proceedings, all of which is tantamount to an Italian invasion of Spain.
