LONDON’S EAST END Campaign Organised London, May 5. Mr A. M. Wall, secretary of the London Trades Council, and Dr. Moses Garter will be among tihe speakers at the conference. “We want to draw public attention to the particularly nasty way in which this anti-Jewish propaganda is being carried on,” said' Mr Wall. Stop Them Now.” “If we are to put a stop -to those things, we have got to stop them now, and not wait unfit they become as bad as they are in other European countries. I regard the stopping of Jew-baiting as a vital part of the climpaign for preserving liberty in this country. “What we want -to emphasise- is that this conference is in every sense an all-party affair We shall expect support from every decent-minded citizen who has the liberties of his country at heart.” Delegates are being invited to the conference from all progressive- socieLeis, and will be asked to consider the practical steps which can be -taken to combat propaganda based on racial prejudice and associated with disorderly conduct. These matters will be considered ‘'particularly in the- light -of even's from last October to -the L.C.C. elections, when the Fascist candidates were able to win considerable support in -three constituencies latter a campaign which was nothing but antigj-ewish incitement!.”
