An anti.cyclone of slight intensity cover s most of the Dominion, but tlhtepressure is still low at Chatham Islands, while a shallow depression lies in a nortfi and south direction over the eastern Tasman Sea. The forecast is for light to modierate northerly winds, freshening somewhat, but turning to southerlies after •bout 24 hours. The weather will be faf.r at, first, but clouding over ahd iacer some rain developing. Temper, aturc.i* colder to_morrow. Seias, slight to moderate.
