An anti-cyclone is passing the Dominion with its centre to the north, but pressure is still rather low east of the South Island and a deep cie_ pression is located over the southwest Tasman Seai and moving slowly eastwards. The forecast is for moderate westerly to north-westerly winds, increasing in l force. The weather will be fail tu cloudy and mild, but shortly becoming unsettled, with rain d«- ' eloping. n ©derate, but rising.
