Following ’jhe dismissal from the Salvation Army if Henry Mapp, Chief of Staff since 1929, writs have been served on General Evangeline Booth and also on big successor, Commissioner John McMillan. Commissioner Mapp has issued a further statement, declaring that the real reason for his dismissal was a letter to Evangeline Booth on March 16, in which he requested to be allowed to retire on account of ill-health.
