TOWLINE BROKEN
Yacht Endeavour In Atlantic Press Association —Copvrlght Newport, May 21. The yacht Endeavour, Mr T. O. M. Sopwi-h’s America Cup challenger, bioke her towline on May 14 and is now believed to be somewhere in the Atlantic slowly en route to Newport alone under a jury rig sail. This was revealed when the convoy, Viva 11, arrived after a vain 40-hour search. No alarm is felt tor the eleven persons aboard the Endeavour. The mtshbp occurred on ithe same night that the Ranger wa s dismasted.
