Webb, acling-Minister of Labour, announced to.day that on May 18, 1937, the total number of males wholly or partly dependent on the employment promo'ion fund was 34.218. compared with 34,249 on April 10 last. A comparison between the figures for May 8. 1937, and those for May 9, 1936, shows a reduction of 16,990.
