Couple Who Went To Spain For Excitement Press Association— Copyright. Bayonne, Miay 20. Mr Esmond Romilly, aged 18, a nephew of Mr Winston Churchill, and the Hon. Jessica. Freeman_Mitford, aged 19, daughter of Lord Redesdale, were married at the British Consulate. Lady Redeedale and Mrs Romily attended the ceremony. Lord Redesdale Stated In March that his daughter apparently had gone to Spain in search of excitement. Mr Romilly was a tached to the Loyalist forces. The Bordeaux correspondent of the Daily Herald latter reported that the girl was working with the Spanish Government Press Bure'au at Bilbao. A friend said that the couple seemed to be very much in love and were planning to marry. They ate at a quayside restaurant before sailing from Bordeaux, and their democratic manner won them many friends among the dockers. Both were full of enthusiasm for the fight against Fascism. Recently they returned to France.
