A two-year-old baby in a decorated I pram, who smiled and waved to f-ilie commentator and pointed to an aeroplane, was the first‘to pass the mobile .elevision unit when it was being tested a't Hyde Park Corner for the televising of the Coronation procession. This was the first time 'that tiny scene in (lie open air, apart from the grounds of the Alexandra Palace, had been televised, owing to the technical difficulties in arranging for a sufficient length of (transmission, cables. ! Sightseers and soldiers were tele_ vised and interviewed. The excitement gave the best, refill ts obtained yet, a (telephoto lens showing clearly objX-ds 100 yards ' away.
