Auckland Difficulties Press Association— Conyrignt. Auckland, May 18, An effort to tettle the difficulties that have arisen following the recent election of senior Burgeons to the honorary staff of the Auckland hospital was made by the chairman of the hospital board, Rev. W. C. Wood, at a meeting of the board to-day. Mr Wood’s proposal was that the three senior surgeons who were not re-appointedi at the election, Drs. Eisdell Moore, L. A. Spedding and E. H. B. Milsom, be requested to accept appointments to the honorary visiting staff in view of their past services and the important positions they occupy. The chairman’s motion was rejected by five votes to four, and tne previous appointments will remain unchanged.
