Japanese Secret Leaks Out Sydney, May 18. The all colourful romance of gold rush days, says? the correspondent of the Sun at Darwin, i s reflected in the hectic hunt for reputedly rich pearling beds somewhere off the coast of Arnheim Land, which were the jealously guarded secret of Japanese pearlers. The frailty of human nature, however, led to t&e secret leaking out. A member of the crew of a Japanese pearling craft in the course of a celebration gave vent to suppressed jubilation during a recent visit to Darwin, and Australian boats are now planning a systematic combing of the fields.
