GLAMOUR OF AUSTRALIA Another Visit Suggested London, May G. “It sounds like a trip to Heaven,” said the Poet Laureate, Mr. John Masefield, to a representative of the. Sun. Herald news service over the telephone from his home near Cirencester, Gloucester, in reply to a suggestion thaat he should revisit Australia next year. “Nobody who has ever been there,” he added, “can fail to wish to go a second and third time. “I wish I could' have gone foe the unveiling of the Dampier monument in North-West Australia. I have sent a few works to be read at the ceremony. It was my greatest regret during myi visit in 1934 that I was unable to see the coast where Dampier landed in 1688 and 1697. “Dampier was a. very keen observer and essentially truthful, as those who have followed him have found. He h,a a delighted seven generations of reaiirY.”
