“MUST DISAPPEAR”

Tn a lecture to the Academy of German Law, Baron von Loringhoven declared that mandates must disappear if the world was to have peace. “They have failed in Iraq, Syria, ind Palestine,” he said. “It remains to be seen whether England and France will be able to maintain their influence in the Near East. The Raw Materials Commission it a clumsy attempt to side-track the issue.”
