The effects of benzedrine, a new drug which gives confidence, increases initiative and promptitude in making decisions, is described by the British Medical Journal. The article says:— “Medical men who have taken the drug have found it of value for such tasks as lecturing and conducting examinations. It also helps to remove mental fatigue, and aids convincing and fluent speech.” The danger of addiction is stressed.
