Deputation To Chancellor (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, May 14. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Neville Chamberlain, undertook to give very careful consideration to views put forward by a deputation which to.day submi ted to him a memorandum containing suggestions regarding the proposed national defence contribution. The organisations represented In the deputation were the Association of British Chambers,' of Commerce, the Federation of British. Industries, the Chamber of Shipping of the United Kingdom, the Mining Association of Great Britain, the British Iron and Steel Federation, and the Corporation of Lloyds and the Baltic.
