SHORTAGE OF RUBBER

Berlin, May 14. j In order to raise capital ,to manufacture synthetic rubber, Germany it' levying a duty, of a shilling a pound on foreign raw rubber. A severe shortage 1 of rubber continues, and motorists ale having difficulty in obtaining tyres. Lorry drivers have been instructed to drive slowly to reduce wear and tear.
