Can’er, secretary of the S'lre.tford Acclimatisation Socielty, at last night’s annual meetting. He had- been informed that about a dozen young trout were found dead at the King Edward Park ford. ANOINTING SPOON. An anointing spoon, a replica of the one to be used in the Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey, is at present on view in a window* of Manoy's, D d., shop premises. The spoon, which Is owned by Mrs R. T. C. Law, Orlando Street, has a large bowl and tapering handle, and is ornamented with delicate lines of tracery.
