Elderly Man’s Death In Wellington Press Association—Copyright. Wi liingtoii, May 11. Knocked down ly a taxi at the corner of Lambton Quay and Molesworth Street, about 9.20 o’clock on Saturday evening, an elderly man named John Brewin, a paiii’er ent. ployed at the railway station, receiv ed severe head injuries, ra. fractured right arm and concussion. He was taken to hospital, but did not regain consciousness and died shortly after 40 p.m.
