INFANTILE PARALYSIS

Further Hawera Case A boy aged 15 months from Nolantown was admitted to the Hawera Hospital bn Saturday afternoon with paralysis. Up to 3 o'clock this afternoon no further cases had been reported in the province. A Takapau man, aged 21, was admitted to the Waipukurau Hospital with paralysis yesterday, states a Press Association message. He. was paralysed in one leg. This Is the fifth case in Central Hawke’s Bay, there being one fatality so far. Two positive cases of paralysis were admitted to the Wellington Hospital on Saturday night, a girl, aged four and a half years, from Vivian Street, and a boy, aged eight, from Taita. The latter is paralysed. No cases were reported to-day.
