The Governor-General returned to Wellington from the north yesterday morning. Mr J. M. S ephens, who has been aa ling.accountant at the Te Awamutu branch of Messrs Newton King, Ltd., returned to Stratford thU- morning. Mr A. E. Leggett, formerly ground engineer to the Canterbury Aero Club at Sockburn, has received an appointment on the staff of Union Airways. He is to leave for Auckland to-day.
