The New Zealand, cricketers practised intensively .’gain this afternoon in preparation for the first game tomorrow, in which, partly through the exceptionally cordial reception giver, them, nearly all the newspapers are creating much interest. The weather forecast is for line weather, which promises a hard and fast wicket. The team cannot be announced until the morning, when the manager will inspect the wicket to decide the best bowlers to use. A description of the practice match j this afternoon was broadcast by Fen- , der, the former Surrey-England star. ■ Page achieved the distinction of being one of the first New Zealanders ever to be televised, participating in j the Empire programme which was transmitted all over England.
