SOCIALIST DRIFT BUSINESS MEN’S FEARS Agreement On Eight Cardinal Points Press Association—CoovYie-ht Dunedin, May 7. Eight cardinal points on which business men were stated to be in harmony in their views on the proper control of New Zealand were enumerated by Hon. Adam Hamilton, Leader of the Opposition, to-day. They were as follow: The Government should keep out of competitive trading. There should be the least possible regulation of private business. Taxation reduction. No borrowing unless essential. Reasonable protection for economic industries. Freedom of banking, railways and broadcasting from political control. No legislation by regulation. Free administration of the courts of justice.
