FARMER’S DEATH
Mind Temporarily Deranged Press Association —Copyright. Marton, May 7. At the resumed inquest on Wilford Stuart Hammond, a well-known farmer of the Tutaenui district, the Coroner, Mr F. C. Wilson, found that deceased shot himself with a shotgun while temporarily deranged, death being due to internal haemorrhage and shock. The tragedy cast a gloom over the neighbourhood, as deceased was highly respected.
