Savage told the Australian Associated Press to-day that he was proud to have had half an hour’s conversation with his Majesty the King, who appeared: to be in remarkably good health. The King inquired whether industry in New Zealand was recovering from the depression. He recalled people, and? places that he visited during his* tour in 1926.
