Stew- ; art with a fire-screen as a wedding | pres .nt, sL. ing that it was perhaps j unique in the history of the lodge to ■ have two Past Grands united in the ibonds of matiimony. ' Some splendid musical numbers J were given by ths S rat.ford Hairmoni- ; ca Build, of 11 instruments, under the i leadership of Mr R. Marsh. This i was the band’s first public perfornii ance, and when the boys overcame their stage fright they seh led down e nd played- music of a very high standard, which was greatly appreciated by members of the lodge. On behalf of the lodge, P.D.G.M Bro. Lawson thanked Mr Marsh and his band for their splendid perform, anee and wished them every success Replying, Mr Marsh said he was i Ph! sol that the boys had had the j opportunity of publicly performing. ! and if they maintained their present I rate of progress they would ba verj ' much be ter within a month or two.
