Finnerty, J’s.P., chjarged with the unlawful conversion of a sedan car, the property of J. P. Murphy, of Riverlea. On the application of Sergeant C. M. Anniss, a remand was granted to Thursday to .•liable the MagistiUte to deal with che case. The car was’ reported missing from ! High S' reet, Hawera, yesterday after- ’ noon and was recovered by the Strati ford police in Orlando Street. The j youth was recognised in Broadway by SergcL-nt Anniss and Constable W. •Hughes, and he was arrested at an jho-tl, where he had booked a room I for the night.
