Mr 11. White-Wickham, the noted big game fisherman, is a guest at the County Hotel. Mr and Mrs W. F. Pellett have returned from a motoring trip to Hawke’s Bay. Mr J. H. Cowan, of ths Stratford railway office staff, hia-s been 'transferred! to Feilding. Mr. T. M. Brooks, clerk of the Stratford Court, has resumed duty after his annual leave, which was spent at Auckland and Rotorua. The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, is expected to arrive in England to-day (Greenwich time) to represent New Zealand at the Coronation of the King and Queen and at the Imperial Conference. Hon T. S. Gordon, chairman of diroeetors of Birt and Co., Ltd., SydIney, will arrive in Wellington to-day Iby the Awatea. Accompanied by Mrs {Gordon he will leave for London by j the ‘Rangitane next Thursday.
