Mr. James Moffatt, of Belfast, formerly a Petty Officer on H.M.S. wood, in a k'tter to the newspapers, pays tribute to the King's part in the Battle of Jutland. “He was stationed/’ says Mr. Moffatt* “in the foremost turret of the Collingwood, working instruments on which depended the accuracy of the guns. “He displayed utter disregard for himself and put every ounce of manhood into his duty.’’ Mr. Moffatt adds that he is sure of his facts, because he was the King’s companion in the turret throughout the battle.
