AFTERNOON PARTY
Mrs. f. Bowler, Fenton Street, gave an enjoyable afternoon party for Mrt. W. Brown, on Wednesday. The hostess wore a gentia blue ta.fU>ta frock, and beautiful chrysanthemums were attractively arranged in the drawing room. Mrs. Brown wore a pearl grey en. •enibie, with navy blue hat, <and was presented with a bouquet of sjearlet begonias. Amongst the guests were: Mes dames W. Brown, W. J. Polson, of Wanganui, A. H. R. Amess, P. Thomson, H. Kirkwood, R. D. Thompson, C. Lambert, W. L. Kennedy, L. C. Jolly, H. C. Johnson, H. Heslop, and Miss Spense, of Auckland.
