BEATEN BY SPEEDS.

Mrs. Mollison’s 30 M.P.H. London, April 14. Mrs. Amy Mollison, who is at present in Canada, was fined £1 at Croydon Police Court for exceeding a speed of 30 miles an hour in her car in a restricted area. Her solicitor said it was possible that, being accustomed to an air speed of 200 miles an hour, she would not easily notice the difference in speeds on the ground. She had been driving for 12 years and had had no convictions for speeding.
