FAREWELL PARTY.

Joint Hostesses Entertain for Miss Hope Penn. Mesdames O. M. Curtis, R. Curtis. H. Graham and G. Clarke were joint hostesses on Thursday afternoon for a farewell party to Miss Hope Penn, who is being married shortly. The function was held at Mrs. O. M. Curtis’s residence in Broadway South. The reception room was beautifully decorated with pal pink chrysanthemums, maidenhair fern, roses and gerberas, any many friends were present to farewell the bride-to-be. Miss Penn looked charming in navy blue taffeta. Mrs. O. Curtis was -wearing powder-blue floral georgette, Mrs. Roy Curtis brown taffeta, Mrs. G. Clarke floral crepe de chine, and Mrs. H. Graham (Midhirst) black moire cire satin, with a pink begonia corsage posy.

There was a very pleasant interlude following the tea hour, when Mrs. O. Curtis handed Miss Penn an artistic set of hairbrushes, mirror and toilet table accessories.
