CANTERBURY WOOL GROWERS.
Ah offical return for the final 'Wool sale of the Christchurch season shows that the season hfss been the most successful for Canterbury growers since 1928-29. Receipts from wool sold at Christchurch were £2,191,344 against £1,440,164 last season and £812,203 in the 1934-35 season. The average price a bale increased from £l5 12s 6d to a fraction of a penny les s than £23. In the 1934-35 season the average was £lO 18s 4d a bale.
