Much I interest is sure to be created by an I article by Vice-Admiral C. V. Osborne, i C. 8., C.M.G., who describes excluj siveiy for the New Zealand Free Lance Great Britain’s return to wooden vessels for a. new arm of the Royal Navy. Dulce Carman, a leading New ZeaI land wr iter, deals entertainingly with the emergency lesson tests for children absent from school because of the infantile paralysis epidemic. The wrestling season is here once again and this week’s issue has considerable space devoted to future activities of the matmen. As usual, the illustrated section is composed of engrossing pictures dealing with sport, events of national importance and happenings of the week. .Among the photographs included are some depicting women’s successes in big-game Ashing off the Bay of Islands.
