BRIDGE PARTY.
Mrs. E. S. Rutherfurd gave a delightful bridge party at her residence in Pembroke Road this week. The hostess wore a smart frock of black silk crepe, w’ith pow’der-blue cowl collar and sleeves, and the corsage was threaded with gold. Gladioli, chrysanthemums, dahlias and autumn leaves were beautifully arranged in the dining-room. The guests were: Mesdames D. Steven, A. W. Budge, G. Hall, S. Pitt, E. P. Hill (Mangatoki), J. B. Richards. H. Graham, F. Uniacke, S. Macalister, R. Curtis, T. Urwin, L. Smith, P. Harrison, Dr. Doris Gordon, and the Misses J. Hill (Mangatoki) and M. Porritt.
