Assisting Fruitgrowers. Press Association—Copyright. Nelson, April 20. Reprmentations have been made to the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. W. Lee Martin, who is visiting 'the Nelson district, regarding the distribulion of £41,000 allocated by the Goyprnment to assist fruitgrowers l who sell their fruit on the local market. A deputation which represented local growers suggested 'th t. £40,000 should be distributed, on a flat basis of Gd a case on all fruit sold locally. The Minister said he 'Would go into the matter with departmental Officers and give the request every considers! ion.
