FLAGS FLOWN

Birthday of Princess Eliza- ! beth. [ Flags were flown on all public build ings in Stratford to-day in honour j of. the eleventh birthday of Princess ’ Elizabeth, the elder daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. As it is probable that she will one day become Queen of England, as her great-great-grandmother, Victoria, did in 1837, great public interest has been shown in the. career of the little Princess, who bears three queenly names—Elizabeth Alexandra Mary— Elizabeth for her mother; Alexandra for her great-grandmother; and Mary for her grandmother, whom she greatly resembles.
