BROTHER OF JAPANESE EMPEROR. In England For Coronation. Prince Chiehibu, brother o£ the Emperor of Japan, who is here tor the Coronation, is accompanied by his wife, writes a London correspond, ent. He is taking the opportunity of doing a certain amount of tightseeing, and also will have a holiday in this country before his official visit to the Coronation begins. The Prince and Prine ss left Japan on March 18, and travelled by way of Canada where the GovernorGeneral v.'at their host for a few days. They arrived, at Southampton on April 11. Priqce Chiehibu ajnd tils wife will be renewing many' former friendships and acquaintances when they are here. Prince Chiehibu was here in 1927 “Westernising” himself, educationally and socially, when he was called heme by the death of the former Emperor. Princess Chiehibu knows this country intimately, tor she was born here —ut Waltou-on-Thames —'When her father was First Secretary to the Japanese Embassy, and later served as Ambassador. The Prince is bringing with him distinguished honours tor the King and Queen, but in accordance with etiquette, they will not be presented until after the Coronation.
