“SHORT AND HARD.”

THE LIFE OF A BOXER. Farr’s World Champion Ambitions. Press Association—Copyright. Received 11 a.m. London, April 17. Tommy Farr, the British Empire heavy-weight boxing champion, who outpointed Max Baer at the Harringay Stadium, states that before long he is going to be a world champion, and perhaps go to the United States. “A fighter is the toy of bloodthirsty people," he told a newspaper representative. “We have a short life and it is a hard life all the way. It is a good life when you are on top, but it is hell getting there.”
