Po'atoes sold for 4s to 5s per tugar ‘bag; onions 6s; carrots, parsnipe, and i beetroot 3s a dozen bundles; cabI bages 3s to 4s per doz ; cauliflowers j6s a sack; red cabbages 2s ter doz : | marrows 4s a sack; pumpkins Cfl to i 12s Gd a sack. I Tomatoes were in demand at 3s to 4s per case of Hawke's Bay and Hutt consignments- idessirt apples 3s to as I tier half bushel; pears 2s 6d per quar--1 ter bushel.
