Key, of Waitete Road, Waihl, was averted by a dog when. Mr. Key was savagely attacked by a pedigree bull In the milking shed yard. Mr.. Key was alone and was in the act of handling a cow, when the bull charged and knocked him down against a fence. The enraged animal was continuing I s attack on the helpless victim, when his dog sprang Wi h lightning sptted at the animal’s head, thus diverting its attention to its fiercelysnapping fourfooted toe. Mr. Key, with a frac-ured leg and bruised chest and back, was dragged to safety by a friend, and removed to he Wallii Hospital. On recovering from his first shock, Mr. Key stated: “No'hlng is surer hat my dog saved my lif .”
