Thousands of Abyssinian refugees are still crossing the frontier. Many have travelled 800 miles and large numbers have perished. The refugees are continually subject to Italian attempts to drive them back. They state that executions are frequent, and often on the flimsiest of pretexts. y|||dreds are homeless, and the food shortage is acute. The Italians seize their produce without payment, and invite the Moslems against the Christians.
