ELTHAM SCHOOLS CLOSED FIRST CASE IN BOROUGH. Boy Admitted to Hawera Hospital. Press Association —Copyright. Eltham, April 13. The diagnosis of a suspected case of paralysis having proved positive, the Public School and the Convent School were closed this morning by order of the Health Department and will not be reopened for fourteen days. The case is of a boy, aged 10, who is affected in the throat and face, and has been admitted to the Hawera Hospital. This is the first definite case reported in the Eltham Borough.
