Mrs. Fredric, Brecon Road, was a bridge hostess this week. * * * Mrs. A. W. Budge has returned from Wellington, where she went to meet her son on his return from England. * * Wearing a very chic black glace silk overdress, with trained skirt, Mrs. Steven, Broadway No>th, entertained Some friends at bridge on Monday afternoon. * * * iMrs. Jefferies, Brecon Road, entertained the members of the Portland Bridge Club on Monday afternoon. There were some lovely choice chrysanthemums decorating the drawingroom, and the hostess wore a modish frock of floral crepe de chine. Those playing were: Mesdames L. Furrie, G. Hall, L. Jardine, A. Coleman, J. B. Richards, R. Curtis, H. Heslopp.
