A widely circulated pamphlet reveals the existence of a new' German party, "the German Freedom Party,” ivhose membership, it is claimed, already includes renolute men and women of all conditions and professions. In i.s ranks ars fighting Catholics, Protestants, Nationalists, Socialists, Democrats and even Nazis,” says the pamphlet. The par.y's programme is stated to be: “Freedom of speech, tree elections, religious liberty and peaceful understandings with all ffialions, particularly France, Poland and Czecho-Slovakia.” It also demands the Withdrawal of German troops from General Franco’s armies in Spain. The pamphlet concludes; “Friends, act cleverly and propagate carefully. To-day only a few hundreds are with us, but soon there will be thousands, and later millions.”
