BEAUTIFUL FURNISHINGS.
A Woman of Taste. Lady (Austen) Chamberlain is a woman of taste, says a London writer. Tn her new home in Egerton Terrace she has had the hall and staircase papered and painted throughout in a delightful shade of pale skyblue, the landing curtains being of chintz in the same tone, with silver bees mingled in the design. Her drawing-room is a charming long room with windows at each end, curtained in yellow ribbed silk, the ribbing running across instead of the Snore usual up and down way. The walls are of stripped pine panelling with ceiling and alcoves painted light blue. The dining-room is octagonal and looks out on to a little garden.
