February figures released by the New Zealand Co-operative Herr' Testing Association reveal the seasonal decline in dairy production, 2000 fewer cows being tested than in the previous month, while the average butterfat production decreased from 33.31 b to 30.71 b, and milk production from 6301 b to 6321 b. During February 105,325 cows were tested, the best producing herd pgain being in the Matangi group, with an average of 531 b of fat and the highest producing cow. ivl.h an average of 931 b, in the same group.
