MONMOUTH ROAD.
I Motorist’s Complaint. ! (To the Editor.) ; Sir,—The time is fact approaching ( when it will be necessary for the County Council (or S.T.A.A.) to erect at the corner of Monmouth Road a warning to motorists to travel in second gear along that road. Deep ruts and pot-holes make it imprudent for ! motorists to travel at more than 20 miles an hour if they would preserve tyre and axle intact. Surely the increased rates paid by dwellers on Monmouth Road justify the expense of suitable safety road I signs.—I am, etc., “MOTORIST.” I Stratford, April 6, 1937.
