Amalgamation Advised. Press Association—Copyright. Invercargill, April 2.. That the Wallace and Fiord hospital district should be amalgamated with the Soulhhind' hospital district is> the recommendation of Mr. W. H. Freeman, S.M., who was appointed by Hon. P. Fraser, Minister of Health, to hold an inquiry into the mutter. The commissioner also consider in no circumstances should the Riverton hospital be closed or in any way reduced as it gives good and con vienient service to »t grjat number of persons in and about Riverton.
